For work on or beside a public road in the UK, yes. Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual sets out how road works should be signed, and our rigid signs conform to BS 8442 and Chapter 8. On private land the choice is yours, but the same signs work just as well.

The sign is the reflective face that carries the message. The frame or stand is what holds it upright on the ground. You usually need both, so we sell them separately to let you match a frame to signs you already own, or buy them together.

Yes. Alongside standard prescribed signs, we produce bespoke temporary signs with custom text and symbols. Add your wording in the customer notes at checkout and we'll set it out for you.

Most items are held in UK stock and dispatched within 2 to 7 working days, depending on whether the sign is stocked or made to order. Working to a deadline? Get in touch before you order and we'll confirm timings.

Our rigid temporary signs are made from Zintec aluminium with a reflective face, built to handle weather and stay visible in low light. Frames and stands are steel or aluminium depending on the model.
